Friday

So, this whole blog thing really is trial and error... I've realized doing a 20 questions every Friday is a more daunting task than that for which I'm prepared on my own, just from the sheer amount of graphics work involved.  I'm re-scheduling my blog plan for 2013 and will have more of a team working with me to expand a bit.

Needless to say, no 20 Questions over the holidays right now.

Instead, today, Im going to share with you a poem that spoke to me yesterday.  I have a beautiful old first edition of Shelley and Keats poetry that I like to carry with me when I travel.

And in case you are looking for some new wines to try, here's a few I thought were gangbusters.  I like oaky, leathery, earthy wines that aren't too sweet and have a smooth finish... the kind you cant even feel going down because the flavor stops right at the back of your palate.

Check these out...

Happy Friday!!  xoxox BJL

  4. Hi Joy

I'm very excited to see what your new blog plans will be in the new year. It great you will be expanding it with a variety of different people. Can't wait to get reading it.

Love the pictures of your little poetry book, it looks very vintage which is nice. Reading through the poem I can see how it spoke to you. I enjoyed reading it and I'm glad you shared it with us.

All those wines all great and totally worth a try. i will have to see where I can get my hands on a few bottles. It was good that you explained your taste of them.

Hope you are still enjoying the holiday period with your family. Enjoy your weekend :).

  7. I love old editions of books. I was just watching the extras on the OTH s9 dvd and learned that you got to take home the Julius Cesar book from set that was in the first and last episode. How special. I miss that show so much, but Mark Schwahn truly did a perfect job with the last episode. I randomly watched the final episode of Gossip Girl, and it was nothing as special as the final one of OTH.

    Happy New Year!

  8. ...Just make sure that the blog is still 'you' - with the working with a team and all.. don't lose the part that makes this blog yours... I wouldn't like the blog to be taken over by a team and the only clue of you being on it is the name bethanyjoy.com

Good luck!! Am looking forward to what's to come!

  12. Joy,
Could you do a 20 questions with Nathan Johnson and Laura Osnes? Or JoAnna Garcia? I would love that!
