I bet you nailed that auditions! I love your outfits! You were MADE for the 1940s! The 1940s episode of OTH is one of my favorites. I loved all the songs you performed in that episode and you wrote most of them didn't you? Such a talent! I'm so glad you posted that Naley video -- how creative! It's perfect! :)

ReplyDeleteAll these OTH videos and Throwback Thursdays are making me so emotional! I was there day 1 watching that pilot on my little 15" TV, I can still remember it to this day. I knew after watching it that One Tree Hill was different. For the next 9 years I watched every episode without ever missing it live - ever! I sent in basketballs to bring it back, wrote letters, signed petitions...One Tree Hill will always be such a special show to me and I'll never forget it. I remember how you made me laugh in the pilot - you were so cute! Everytime I say "slash" out loud I think of that quote in the pilot when you're telling Lucas "She doesn't want to go. She doesn't wanna see her high school sweetheart slash your brother Dan slash the jerk who abandoned Lucas slash the father of Nathan, the team's star player slash my wrists if I hear the story again. Let's go."
I had the pleasure of briefly meeting you in Wilmington and I'll never forget it! You are a very talented down to earth gal and an inspiration; musically, spiritually, lyrically, fashionably ;)
I was there in October 2011 for An Evening with One Tree Hill too and it was a wonderful send off for season 9!
This turned into a rant about One Tree Hill, but that's the story of my life as my friends will tell you, ha!
