The Naughty Englishwoman

A few nights ago I had a hankering to make up a cocktail.  These hankerings don't usually turn out well as I'm notoriously terrible at mixing drinks. However!  My luck is changing, and this one is quickly becoming a favorite at my house among friends.  I've called it...

The Naughty Englishwoman
I used...
SVEDKA Vanilla Vodka
Equal parts Tonic & Soda water
Splash of Gin
Large Splash of Cranberry juice
Small splash of Orange juice
Drizzle of Honey
Muddled Blueberries
Rosemary sprig (rubbed between fingers to release oils)

Mix over ice.

Yum!
(obviously, you fill the glass... this picture just happens to be from the end of my evening :)

  1. You should have called her the Swedishwoman because Svedka is from Sweden ;)

  3. This sounds really good! It must've been fun. If only I didn't have an alcohol intolerance. I don't even know how wine tastes... Oh well, drink one for me!

Looking forward for more "Tuesday Surprise" as it's my favourite feature on your blog.

Have a great rest of week :)

  10. Dear Joy,
I love the last part of your post : "obviously, you fill the glass... this picture just happens to be from the end of my evening" Just to be clear! this cocktail seems to be delicious, especially with the Blueberries and the cranberry juice. I'm gonna try this cokctail this week-end. Maybe it can replaces my traditional cosmopolitan and the perfect pina colada...

  15. Wow, that sounds (and looks) AMAZING. Must try. Also, thought I'd tell you that I thought of you yesterday as I was walking through NYC before the Mumford and Sons concert in Brooklyn, NY. I noticed all these cute mom-and-pop shops and thought of your recent blog post. It reminded me to seize opportunities. I had a very fun and inspiring day in NYC yesterday, thanks Joy :)
